Friends of the Library Supports Our El Dorado County Libraries

The Friends of the El Dorado County Library is an all-volunteer, independent nonprofit organization. It is governed by a volunteer board, and oversees 6 chapters: one chapter for each of the 6 public libraries in the El Dorado County Library system. Each chapter has its own leadership and roster of members who make a difference for their library and community. Each chapter operates its own membership lists, used book sales, and other fundraising and community-building endeavors. Each chapter decides the financial contributions it is able to provide to the library branch it supports.
